Le Fournil is an excellent village bakery at Espéraza in the south of France. I visited it today on a trip to the Sunday market at Espéraza, with friends telling me it's one of the best bakeries in the area. The croissants were wonderful, as were the baguettes I also bought -- all with good service and a very pleasant atmosphere.

Best bakery in the area, we drove down from Roquetaillade to get bread and pastries. The quality is superbe, it’s exactly what you expect from a good French bakery - patisserie. Large choice of breads, pastries, cakes and savoury baked goods. Highly recommend the almond-chocolate croissant 🥐

The last time I had such a legendary bread was in my childhood 40 years ago. I bought my first flute here by chance and was so exited I have eaten it dirct complete without anything else back in my campervan. The nice and friendly team was a great help too for a not french speaking visitor.

Great bakery and patisserie situated in the heart of Esperaza. They akways have an excellent selection of breads, cakes and biscuits. All of which are tasty and delicious. Not forgetting the lovely, friendly staff who are very helpful and efficient.

De passage en camping car, nous avons découvert votre boulangerie avec du pain au levain comme en en trouve presque ou à des prix excessif. Chez vous là qualité du pain au levain, le prix correct et le service agréable. Merci. Si vous ouvrez un jour dans les PO j aimerais travailler dans votre boulangerie 😊👍

Tanto el pan como la pastelería es buenísima. La atención muy amable ya que al detectar que no entendía muy bien el francés han hecho el esfuerzo de hablarme en español.

5 étoiles bonjour à vous. Pour le peu de fois où j'y suis allé bien soyons honnête, j'ai adoré ce que j'y ai trouvé miam mais quel délice c'est quoi ces viennoiseries ! J'ai été apprenti ces deux derniers années et je n'ai jamais vu ni fait de pareils merveilles ! Juste aller y ça en vaut la peine du détour pareil pour le pain !

Le pain comme on en trouve plus ailleurs. Ça me rappelle mon enfance avec le boulanger qui passait dans nos campagnes et qui vendait le pain qu'on conservait toute la journée entouré d'un linge.

Bread like you don't find anywhere else. It reminds me of my childhood with the baker who came through our countryside and sold bread that we kept all day wrapped in a cloth.
